New Year's Eve Family Festival at Yarra Park

Yarra Park, surrounding the MCG, including 9.15pm family fireworks: 5pm to 9.30m

Waterfront City Docklands, including the 9.15pm family fireworks: 6pm to 1am.

New Year's Eve in the City and Midnight Fireworks

Alexandra Gardens 8pm to 1am

Birrarung Marr 9.30pm to 1am

Federation Square 8pm  to 12.30

Waterfront City (Docklands) 6pm to 1am

This year, midnight fireworks will be launched from building rooftops instead of from the river. You can view this year’s fireworks from anywhere you can see the city skyline.
